Klagenfurt castle - Former Gestapo office Klagenfurt

Ernst Logars exhibition series "The End of Memory" takes its place here as
part of the exhibition "K08 - emancipation and confrontation - Carinthian
Art from 1945 until today", in the Museum of Modern Art Carinthia
(MMKK). Klagenfurt castle, where today the MMKK and the regional culture
department are located, was the Gestapo office Klagenfurt during the war.
In this work the artist focusses attention on this site, which served as a
regional center for surveillance and terrorisation of the local population.
